Yael Stone

Stone was brought up in Sydney, Australia, where she attended Sydney's Newtown High School of the Performing Arts as well as The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Stone began acting as when she was a young person, appearing in the films Me Myself I and the miniseries The Farm. At the 2008 Sydney Theatre Awards she was named Best Newcomer and with Best Supporting Actor due to her part on The Kid. In addition to her work in theatre, she has also appeared in TV for supporting roles like All Saints or Spirited. In 2010, she starred on stage in The Diary of a Madman. It earned her a second nomination at the Sydney Theatre Awards as Best Supporting actor. In February 2011 she traveled across the country to New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production The Diary of a Madman and then returned to the lead roles in A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, and As You Like It in Sydney.
