Jacob Sartorius

JacobRolf Jacob Sartorius was a Tulsa native. The parents of the child were not able to help him after the birth, so he was adopted , and then moved to Virginia. The adoptive family brought him up within Reston Virginia. Seven years old, Sartorius started singing in musicals, and then found his love for performing. Prior to the demise of Vine, an American short-form online video-hosting service, in 2017, Sartorius lip-syncing videos posted through the site gained an impressive eight million subscribers up to August 2016. Social media was his escape from the sexism of which he had previously been a victim. He once said that he didn't seem to be the most socialized person prior to Musical.ly. It was like he didn't feel that anyone was watching him, aside from the camera.
